This Returns & Refund Policy explains how returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for orders placed through Galerie Noir.

1. Contact us first

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us first at support@galerienoir.shop. Please include your order number and a short description of the issue.

Do not send any item back before contacting us and receiving return instructions.

2. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

Please include:

  • your order number;

  • photos of the damaged, defective, or incorrect item;

  • photos of the packaging;

  • a short description of the issue.

If the issue is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.

In many cases, damaged or defective items do not need to be returned, but we may require photos or additional information to process the claim.

3. Lost packages

If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at support@galerienoir.shop.

Claims for lost packages must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date.

We will review the case with our fulfillment and shipping partners and, where applicable, arrange a replacement or refund.

4. Change of mind returns

If you are a consumer in the European Union, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable law.

To request a change of mind return, contact us at support@galerienoir.shop within 14 days of receiving your order.

Returned items must be:

  • unused;

  • undamaged;

  • in their original condition;

  • returned in suitable protective packaging.

Unless required otherwise by applicable law, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

We may refuse a refund if the item is returned damaged, used, incomplete, or not in a resellable condition.

5. Return instructions

Please do not return your order to the sender address on the parcel unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, or once a claim is approved, we will notify you about the refund decision.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible.

Please note that payment providers and banks may take additional time to process and display the refund.

7. Shipping costs

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise faulty item.

For change of mind returns, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Items that cannot be returned

We may be unable to accept returns for:

  • items damaged after delivery due to misuse, mishandling, or improper care;

  • items returned without contacting us first;

  • items returned outside the applicable return period;

  • items not returned in their original condition.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy under applicable consumer protection laws.
